I am an interdisciplinary Health Informatics researcher studying human interaction with AI and data-driven systems in healthcare. My work spans digital health, human–computer interaction, and personalized behavioral interventions for managing chronic conditions. I investigate how health technologies are reshaping care delivery, clinicians’ workload, and patient outcomes alongside their broader social impacts on trust, commitment, and health equity.
My recent projects focus on:
- User engagement with digital interventions for chronic disease management: investigating what engagement means for patients, causal effects of engagement on health outcomes, and how behavioral phenotyping can enable adaptive, personalized, and equitable intervention design.
- Impacts of generative AI–supported care delivery on patient advice seeking: evaluating how AI-mediated messaging and remote triage influence clinical workload and patients' perceptions of care quality, clinician competence, and trust.
